چکیده

High cost of synthetic fertilizers and their hazardous effects catapult the exploration alternative nutrient formulations soil amendments. This study aimed to synthesize a novel biochar-mineral-complex (BMC), evaluate its supplying improvement performances. In hydrothermal reaction, BMC was prepared using biochar derived from distillation waste Lemongrass (Cymbopogon flexuosus) farmyard manure, for first time via fortification with low-grade rock phosphate mica. The showed improved physico-chemical properties availability than pristine biochar. When applied deeply weathered acidic soil, significantly (p<0.05) herbage bioactive compound (sennoside) yields medicinal plant (senna; Cassia angustifolia Vahl.) compared biochar, vermicompost, chemical fertilizers. also quality by increasing carbon contents, microbial activities. Soil facilitated greater uptake in senna plants under conventional organic fertilizer treatments. thus encourages development not only overcome limitation sole application soils, but phaseout agriculture. Moreover, could bestow resilience sustainability crop production value-added recycling biomass mineral resources.

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Mineral resources and geo-engineering

Metals used in everyday life are produced from ores occurring in the Earth’s crust. Geological processes are known to concentrate minerals to form ores of economic value. Mineral processing engineers concentrate these ores by mechanical and physico-chemical methods while the extractive metallurgist extracts the metals by chemical means.

Applying Biochar and Mineral Amendments to Remediate the Chemical Properties of a Saline-Sodic Soil

The present study was intended to improve the chemical properties of a saline-sodic soil using the individual application of alfalfa residue and two biochars produced from sugarcane bagasse and walnut shell, at the weighting ratio of 5%; their concomitant application with gypsum, aluminum sulfate and the mixture of these two chemical amendments was considered. The experiment was conducted in th...
